Currently The Bridge has one pastor, Shane Kennard.  He and his wife, Nichole and two sons, Elijah and Josiah, moved to B'ville in August 2008 to start The Bridge.  They wanted to reach out to a people who didn't know--or even don't want to know--that there is a God that is close.  They want people to experience the abundant life that comes from adoring and advancing God and His Kingdom.

Shane grew up in Springfield, MO.  Springfield is home of Bass Pro and Brad Pitt.  Nichole grew up in Harrisburg, IL.  Harrisburg is home of, well, not much except some coal mines.  Yes, Nichole is a coalminer's daughter.  They married in 2001 and met because Shane worked in the lobby of the girls-only dorm Nichole lived in.  Since being married, they lived in MO, TX and AR going to undergrad and grad school and doing youth ministry.  You can check out their blogs at the bottom of the page to find out more about their day-to-day life.
